Happy Thanksgiving from Esselle!

The holiday season snuck up on us fast, but time flies when you’re having fun! With 2017 coming to an end, we wanted to reflect on what an incredible year it has been and share our gratitude with you! We love every opportunity we get to interact with you guys (whether it’s through Instagram, Twitter, our blog) and we all agree, we’re incredibly grateful for our amazing customers. We could have never anticipated the amount of support and love we have received since Esselle started! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

In honor of the classic “go around the table and share what you’re thankful for” Thanksgiving tradition, the Esselle team wanted to share a little bit about themselves and express thanks. Whether you’re spending this day with friends or family, from all of us here at Esselle, Happy Thanksgiving!

Last year, one of my best friends was diagnosed with Lymphoma at age 31. It was the hardest things I’ve ever had to witness someone battle through, let alone go through. Beyond the physical pains and challenges, she persevered and beat cancer with tremendous amount of grace, and mental and spiritual strength. Through that experience, I’ve come to appreciate and think about health in a new light. Being grateful that I have physical healthy (now) and the capacity to become healthier spiritually and mentally! I’m also incredibly thankful for my family. My parent and my husband are a few of the best humans in my life- they support me unconditionally in this entrepreneurial journey. Esselle simply could not exist without them. Lastly- my team. My millennial babes that help grow Esselle the brand that it is today. I cherish our little unit as a family- truly, as they often call me, Mom! They know the meaning of hustle, and firmly believe in the brand that we are building. I cannot be more grateful for them!

"I’m thankful for everything to be honest! I'm thankful for the family and friends that I have been blessed with. My family for their unconditional love and support and for understanding the goals I want to accomplish in life (which includes traveling the world)! My friends for being there for me in hard times and for binge watching anything that we can find! I'm thankful for the opportunities that I have been given in my life which includes having two jobs that I love. I am very blessed to be able to work at Esselle with both Sherry and Jessica. They are both such strong women who inspire me everyday to go after and do what I love. It's easy to be friends with coworkers, but it so rare to find people who you truly connect with. Lastly, I am thankful for the home I have and for the food on my plate."

“I could go on and on about what I’m thankful for, so for the sake of the readers, I’ll share my top three. First, I’m extremely thankful for my family, my boyfriend, and for everything God has provided us. My mom and sister are the most incredible role models and my dad offers the best advice in town! My boyfriend always encourages my creative ideas, even if they might be a little crazy and my cat, Sashimi, has accompanied me during many hours of studying. Secondly, I’m thankful for the Esselle team. Sherry is the most passionate woman I have ever met and inspires me each and every time I interact with her. Renee knows how to balance work and play perfectly and always knows how to make a work day fun (You should see our karaoke sessions. They get wild.) Lastly, I’m thankful for Netflix. Whether I’m in a productive mood or not, I know I can always rely on Netflix!”
