Happy New Year from Esselle!

Happy New Year from Esselle!

We don’t know about you, but we couldn’t be more excited to say goodbye to 2017 and welcome 2018 with open arms! We are grateful for all the incredible relationships and partnerships we have made over the past year and are eager to see what will come our way in 2018. Thank you for all the love and support you have graciously shared with us in 2017 and we cannot wait for you to join us in our 2018 journey!

In honor of the new year, the Esselle team wanted to take some time to share with you their top three New Year’s resolution. Though we are constantly setting goals on how to improve our brand, we wanted to share with our readers a few ways we plan on improving ourselves this year. Cheers to our first blog post of the year and we hope 2018 brings joy, peace, happiness, kindness, patience, empathy, and goodness to all!

Sherry (Founder & Creative Director):

1. Get healthy - I've really let junk food (and stress eating) take over my life. Becoming healthy isn't about weight loss for me, it's about making better choices with what I put in my body! So here’s to a healthier me in 2018!

2. Be flexible - Life isn’t linear so why plan your life that way.

3. Be more present - This year, I want to focus on being more mindful and in the moment.

Renee (Operations Manager):

1. Drink more water - My goal is to drink 8 cups of water a day and to stay hydrated throughout the year.

2. Be more organized - I’m determined to make this year a little less chaotic! I love when I get the chance to organize different elements in my life, but sometimes it’s difficult finding the time to do so. This year, I want to start dedicating a chunk of time every week to getting organized.

3. Be more spontaneous - I’m too stuck in my ways. I want to be more adventurous and spontaneous this year!

Jessica (Content Manager):

1. Committing to my resolutions - I usually give up on all of my new year resolutions around March, but this year I’m determined to commit for the full 365 days!

2. Become a better cook  - I’m great at putting pop-tarts in the toaster and pouring cereal in a bowl, but I’m getting a little tired of those two meals.

3. Read two books a month - With being a college student, I do a lot of assigned reading. By the time I’m done with my school work, I feel no motivation to do any additional reading. I miss the days where I would snuggle up with a blanket, some coffee, and a good book to get lost in! Since I’ll be graduating college this year, I can’t think of a better time to ditch the textbooks and read something of my choice!
